Couple getaway highlights
The indoor pool was why we picked this place. Small but not crowded, not much more you could ask for after a long day. One of the nights we spent just relaxing under the stars in the hot tub, which was super clean! I appreciated the effort the staff put into keeping everything tidy.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but you could still find some value here.

The Country Inn in Asheville surprised me in a good way. The room felt clean and comfortable. I loved the indoor saltwater pool and hot tub. it added a nice touch to relaxation. Breakfast was satisfying, with a decent spread. One morning, the breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly and engaging. However, I noticed the breakfast items were quite repetitive. The coffee wasn't hot enough every day, which was a bit disappointing. Location was great. easy access to local attractions like the Biltmore. But parking felt tight during busy hours. One downside was the hallway noise being a little disruptive at times.

missingWrote a review on 06 Novcomfortable roomgreat breakfastnice amenitiesodor issue
Spacious Queen Room with Two Queen Beds offers a comfortable retreat with solid bedding and nice amenities like a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast spread includes freshly made omelets, and the pool, while small, offers a relaxing spot after a long day.
Unfortunately, the room carried a strong odor that resembled mercaptan. The ineffective air freshener indicated that the issue was known, and opening the window barely helped. restroom cleanliness near the breakfast area left much to be desired. The elevator location was inconveniently far from check-in, leading to unnecessary backtracking, which is a hassle especially when carrying luggage.

The king suite we stayed in was remarkably clean and comfortable. The breakfast staff provided excellent service, making mornings enjoyable. However, the bathroom lacked sufficient lighting options at night, and the shower could benefit from grab bars for added safety.

The overpowering lemon scent in the room was unbearable!!! !!! The AC unit in a locked closet was noisy enough to disrupt sleep!!! Some rooms near the stairs can be quite loud!!!
